A couple of symptoms I am having.
I'm an NOT diagnosed with Lupus, though my mother has a severe case of it (lost her kidneys and nearly her lungs about 22 years ago when I was born).
Anyways they did testing on me as a child and concluded that I DID NOT have it, though recently I've been showing 2 symptoms that mom had/has.
My veins are extremely blue and prominent, they are difficult to hide even when I tan.
I have random small sores on my skin, though my dad was diagnosed with a skin condition so that may have been inherited.
Even if I don't HAVE lupus would the sores and prominent blue veins be there due to the fact that I may be a carrier?
first of all, hello.
lupus is one of the disorders that happen when your immune system goes into overdrive.
you cannot catch it from someone else.....
therefore you cannot be a carrier.
the blue veins sound like varicus veins.
this is usually caused by the blood trying to find new routes to follow.
if this is your condition, is has nothing to do with your immune system.
skin disorders should be looked at by a dermatologist.
there is so many reasons for skin conditions.
yes auto immune disorders is amoungst the conditions.
