    Default SLE high blood pressure

    Does any SLE has high blood pressure take Micardis plus 80mg/12.5? and worsening SLE?

    i have high blood pressure, and take medication.
    but it is different to yours.

    I get high bp when I am flaring. Mine usually runs low around 100/60 and then when I'm flaring it goes up 130-150/70-90s.

    I'm not put on medication for it though because if the flares are controlled it goes away.

    I'm not familiar with constant high bp in Lupus so I can't say anything about the meds sorry.

    Hope someone who can relate will be able to give you more info!

    I always had very low blood pressure but I have very high blood pressure now ( LOL I would love mine to be what Mommyof1's is when flaring!). The thing that sent me to the hospital the first time (I had been sick for years before but had ignored it thinking I was getting old) was that my blood pressure shot up in the upper 200's/ over upper 100's. Yep... scared the ER people as much as it did me.

    I don't take the same meds but I am on meds to keep it under control

    Today i went local doctor check my blood pressure 128/85. i take Micardis plus 80/12.5 mg just one week. it seams helps me.
    at moment, i take: cyclosporin150mg per day, prednisolone 10mg per day,micardis plus 80/12.5mg per day, spironolacton 12.5mg per day, lipitor 10mg per day,plaquenil 200 mg per day, nexium 40mg per day, magnesium 1000mg per day, vitamin D 1 per day, caltrate 1 per day.
    i have SLE more than 20 years. flare couple of times. the latest flare 2010, already 2 years.
