    Default Speaking of Brain Fog

    Have any of you out there found anything that helps the brain fog. I find that I am better focused after having eaten for at least a couple of hours? Have any of you found anything else that helps? I think that my hypoglycemia, for which I have to eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day, is a contributing factor to my brain fog, as well as the lupus. The fact of the matter is, I am not always in a position to eat 5 or 6 times a day. It does require some planning and I am not always the most disciplined person when it comes to planning.

    I found as the day goes on that the brain fog gets worse but other than that I haven't really found anything else.

    Ifind that fatigue levels and the ability to focus go hand in hand. I getsleepy after I eat.

    I wish that there were some proven activities, regimens, foods, medications, or treatments that would effectively improve brain fog. I have not heard of anything yet. As has been mentioned, we are all different and our brain fog lessens or worsens at different times and for different reasons.
    For me, my brain fog worsens when my fatigue becomes insurmountable and/or when I fail to eat properly.
    Perhaps you can keep track of when your fog is worse and when it improves and then make appropriate alterations in your activities, diet, etc. accordingly??? Can't hurt.

    I agree with Nonna. The more tired I am, or the more pain I'm feeling, the more likely I am to have brainfog moments.
    The only thing that helps is rest. That seems to "reset" my brain.
