    Be confident, without being demanding, and ask clearly for what you want. "Dr. I'm concerned about fatigue and joint pain. My mother has RA and I would like to see a Rhuematologist to rule out any possible connection."

    His response will help you to define your next move. I hope it goes well.

    @ Brenda, yes that is a good idea. I do want to find out once and for all what is causing my issues. So, asking him to see a rheumatologist because of my connection to my mother is a good idea. I hadn't thought of that.

    Welcome to WHL. I hope that you can get some answers before you move. Seeing your mother's rheumy sounds like a great idea. He might be able to make some connections for you.
