The last few days havent been to good..but I know this is a place to come and feel like your not alone in this, so,the last fews day have been extremely exhausting, well fatigued, cant hardly write, my Daughter brithday tomorrow and only just managed to day to go and get her some presents. I went out for about 45 mins and bang that was it had to lay down and its been like that for the last 4 days, sleeping for few extra hours & feel like I could've slept more, but duty calls, being single parent and diabetic child, keeps me on my toes. My hearts been racing, breathing shallow, body aches, pain in knees, ankles and hips...Back in Feb, my Neurologist dropped me from 400mg Plaquenil to 200mg and Im not sure if that has something to do with it why Im feeling like this, whereas before I was begining to feel like my old self...
I'm not sure if anyone else also feels like your body goes into like silent seizure, where you cant move, feels like you get a temperature and need to drop flat on your back..this is new to me, different symptoms and anyone out there has any of the similar experiences, because somedays I just want to just not motivated, memory today is shocking, Im forgetting things, like where I parked my car...I get by with my sense of humor, but really is this for real?? But today sense of humor is even having a sleep..lol!! Thanks people for allowing me be here for some support, I'm not giving up on working towards a healthier life and even a cure and does anyone know if in PERTH WA what the groups are like at RPH?? or how we can possibly do a fundraiser to get more awareness??
Seeing my Rheumy on 14 th April, only just been referred, after 14 months witha Neurologist, any questions that I could ask him further to understand ??I know there's google, but google can only do so much...Thank you hope this makes sense, coz the brain feel like its functioning on 4 cylinders and not 6...and running outa fuel/Gas!!
sorry you are in so much pain.
it does sound like you need to discuss your medication strength with your doctor.
when you see your rhuemy, i have a couple of suggestions......
write down your questions, before, you go to see him.
that way, when he fills your head with information, you wont forget your questions.
keep a pain journal. list what hurts and what doesnt.
when it happens. anything that is abnormal for you.
try to keep a copy of your test results.
expect to be pocked and prodded.
the doctor is trying to eliminate lots of medical options.
it is not unusual for the doctor to order lots of blood tests.
i had 15 vials drawn on my origional appointment.
again, this is done so they can rule out lots of possabilities.
remember to ask questions, when you do not understand.
it is your body you are dealing with so stand up for you.
it is good to read through some of our older threads.
read the title, and look for possible matches.
