Cool Just wanted to fill everyone in on what's been happening

I've not been around much. I try to pop in, but my fatigue levels are really high. My neurological problems have become more active and I'm on seizure meds now. Having 2 debilitating dieases has been hard. I did so much yesterday then had to take my MTX.

I am so tired at times I want to stop fighting; but I know that's just a side effect. I'm having to adjust to new limits and I'm not liking it.

My spoons are gone. Will they ever come back?

Yesterday I went to a gathering at my dsughter's church. She was the speaker. I went because she asked me to be there. I wanted to be there for her to encourage her.
She had me in tears. She's an excellent speaker. Made it to 2 softball tournaments ok. But I can't work
Eight hours, drive 2 hours and then do another 3 hours of an evening activity. I'm trying to do this but I'm slowing down rapidly.

Any ideas? Thank for being here
    Hugs and Good thoughts
    Toni

All I can say is that I love you and I am so sorry. I hate these diseases and what the do to those that I care about.

My only suggestion Nonna is to pace yourself. I'm sure that's something you're already doing. Best wishes

    Hi Nonna,
I'm always glad to see you here! I agree with Manderson - always pace yourself.
I have a list of things that I want to accomplish each day, but I'm usually lucky just to get the top one or two done.
I have to do a little, then sit and rest, then do a little more.
It's really frustrating for those of us who have been used to having busy lives and families.
I've learned to just not allow people to expect too much of me.
I hope that you get over this flare or whatever it is soon.
    Hugs,
    Marla

dear nonna i am sorry you are flaring so much i know how hard it can be i have to do a little bit and sit down then try again. going to thesupermarket has become so tiring for me now that i shop online and they deliver to my door. my pharmacy delivers my meds. i have learned to do a lot of things on line now. i pay all my bills online. if only i were rich enough for a housekeeper i would be right but it takes me allday to clean house as i have to take breaks all the time. i was so active once i used to go tobingo but get to tired or my eyesight is bad. it takes away alot of what you like to do. but i have learned to adjust my life to work with my lupus.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling so crappy. Do you have someone that could record some of these events for you? We used to do that for my mom when she was sick with cancer. Just an idea.

I hope you feel better soon.

    Brenda
