Hello, I was diagnosed with SLE in 2000 at the age of 44 but had been ill for about 5 years prior to that. No Dr could ever find out what was wrong with me..Thought I wad going crazy..Guess I finally found a Dr who would listen to my symptoms and tested me..Now I am on medications like prednesone and plaquinel efflexor, zolpiduim, ibuprohen, metropal, lexyol, and adderall CT for my adhd. Am always tired depressed, in pain in joints, headaches, I'm obese. Am tryin to live with it.

Hi Charlie. Welcome to WHL! So many stories are like yours. The waiting c
game can be so difficult that there is almost a relieve when we get some kind of diagnosis.

There are fabulous people here and I look forward to getting to know you myself

Hello Charli, welcome. I am also new to the site and went through the struggle of trying to get diagnosed and thinking I was going crazy in the process. I am happy that I joined this site last week. Already I've been feeling relieved to share some of my thoughts with others who know exactly what I'm going through. It has been tough getting my family to understand. I hope you feel at home here
