    Question Anybody else with Scleroderma?

    Anybody here with an overlap of Systemic Scleroderma (SSc)??

    Dx: Potential Lupus, Diffuse Systemic Sclerosis, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease

    Rx: Prednisone 5mg 1x daily, Lyrica 75mg 2x daily, Omeprazole 200mg 1x daily, Xanax .5mg prn

    I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet. My rhuemy thinks i have sle, but my ana pattern suggests Scleroderma. I have been reading the lupus book which says the ana centromere pattern is rarely seen with lupus, so I am confused. Can you have both?
    She doesn't believe that I have Scleroderma. Any guesses?

    Yes, it is common to have overlapping AI diseases. If you look up Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, sclero is listed as one of the common AI diseases in MCTD.
