    Default steve's new lawn mower

as most of you will remember, my lawnmower and i had an unfortunate comming together about 8 weeks ago.

well my toe is repairing nicely. i still have some bone missing, that will take months to fully repair, but the wound is all but healed.

i now have my new lawn mower at home. she is about 6 months old, and i had to show her off.

She is much cuter, doesn't need gas and won't cut your toe off. A win, win situation.

I may have been dealt a bad hand, but at least I'm still playing with a full deck. ( most of the time anyway).

the model is a cross between a shetland and a welsh.
she wil only grow to 13 hands at most.
and yes she does live in our back yard.

her reason i purchased her is to be my lawnmower.
but her second ocupation is a friend for the grandkids.
we already have an 11 year old welsh pony they ride.
but aniseed (my little black jellybean), will be there brushing friend.

Hey, Steve - you're a horseman - me too! (Well, except for the man part - I'm a woman...)

    What a cutie....

My daughter and I worked a few years back with a cutie-patootie little Welsh pony - she was a PISTOL but she's a dream with kids. LOL - I can't say they're actually SAFER than a regular lawnmower, and certainly not cheaper....but they're hella cute!

Horses are the best healing I have ever found.....have fun!!!!!

Steve....that was great! I was wondering what type of lawnmower you could get that would be injury-proof..and she is perfect. When I scrolled down to the picture, I let out a belly laugh!

    Awww, Steve
She's a cutie! Much safer - now you just have to watch where you step.
Such a nice thing for the grandkids, too.
    Hugs,
    Marla
