    Question Weird rash..??

    Hey everyone(:

I was wondering if any of you know what this rash is? It comes and goes. Its on my knees and my elbows and I also get little bumps on my fingers but not as often.

Here is a picture: (sorry for the terrible quality, they are like little blisters)

    Hi Hannah,
Several of us have talked about all sorts of weird rashes. I've had something like it at times, but it always fades away before I can show it to a doc.
One name that I've seen used as a possibility for it is cutaneous vasculitis rash. Here's a site that has pics similar to yours:

Of course, we're not doctors, so I'm guessing as much as you are. Keep that picture, and be sure to show it to your rheumy.
That will be your best bet for getting it diagnosed.
    Hugs,
    Marla

One of the things that helped me get diagnosed so quick was that I took pictures of the rashes I would get. I also took pictures of my joints when they were swollen because, like you said, it ALWAYS disappears before you get to show the doctor. Have you thought of taking pictures of yours?

If you read through old threads you wl see that taking pictures is one of the first things we suggest. It is important for your doctor to be able to see what is going on even if it isn't happening at the time
