    Default Falling apart

Been to the Dr. two more times since I wrote about the heart problem. Right now, I have an ear infection, had blood in the urine again, and had a test for cholestrol level and uric acid level in the blood. I'm being treated for the ear infection, and hoping that a change in diet will lower the cholestrol and uric acid levels so I won't have to go on more meds. I was told not to have any shellfish, red meat, red beans, peas, or caffeine. The forbidden foods will not be the hard for me to live without. The thing is that I feel like I'm falling apart, and I feel overwhelmed. Thanks for letting me vent. It does help.

    DOW,
Vent away! The change to a healthy diet should help you a lot. I've been watching lots of cooking shows and trying all kinds of new recipes. It's really kind of fun to challenge yourself to find delicious and healthy new recipes.
One thing though, I don't think that any doctor could ever in a million years get me to cut out my morning cup of coffee. That would NOT be good for my health or the health and safety of anyone around me!
Let us know how it goes.
    Hugs,
    Marla

I am so sorry that you are going through all of this! Hopefully making the changes your doctors are asking for will make you feel good as new!
