    Default Hi :)!

Hey all, my name is Maddie and I was diagnosed January 24th (my birthday, unfortunately) with stage 4 lupus nefritus via kidney biopsy. I'm 17 and a junior in high school, I'm still adjusting to the fact I have lupus but I'm very excited to talk to others with lupus and learn how you cope day in and day out.

Maddie- My 14 yr. old son was diagnosed with the same thing. Lupus nephritis with kidney disease. He's doing much better. Kidney's work at about 50%. Still doing some fine tuning with the blood pressures though. He's been thru A LOT!! One tough cookie thats for sure. All this with not many complaints from him. Just wants to be "normal".
