Thank you Steve! I have been searching through the forums for a couple of hours, reading and learning a little bit about Lupus.
I'm 30 years old, mom of 2 and recently diagnosed 3 months ago. Rightnow my rhemy and I are talking about Benlysta, however nobody seems to have answered this question or at least I havent found the Thread with this specific question.

Is Benlysta forever and if so, are there any breaks?

Thanks foir welcoming me in to the forums. I feel so lost and almost as if nobody understand what im going through, so being here with other people that can relate with what am going through makes a world of difference for me.

    Hello Jen,

It's good to have you here. Welcome to WHL.

Benlysta is still fairly new, so the base of knowledge about the drug is still somewhat limited.
However, we do have some threads/posts here that address the subject. Here's a link to all
the Benlysta threads we have here so far-

Hope this helps. Please make yourself at home here.

    Hi Jen,
Welcome to WHL. Because Benlysta is so new and expensive, most of us have experience with Plaquenil, Prednisone and Methotrexate.
If you do start on Benlysta, please report back to us. I'm curious as to whether it is a better drug for us.
    Hugs,
    Marla
