Its good news and bad at the same time I wish there was nothing wrong at all but thats not the case, but at least now I can get some kind of treatment for it.
Good Luck! I hope that the Plaquenil helps. It is a good drug for most of us, and is easily tolerated.
Be sure to see your ophthalmologist now that you are taking Plaquenil. It can very rarely affect the retina, so we need a check-up a couple of times a year.
If I were you, I would bring it up if the Restasis isn't doing enough for your dry eyes - the eye doc might have some other suggestions.
You are very lucky if you've found a good rheumy - hang on to her.
Marla, I'll admit I got a little lazy taking the restasis at first, taking it once a day, and somedays not taking it at all, but now I make sure I take it twice a day everyday, but one thing I have noticed is that it's getting a little harder to read small print, it looks very blurry to me, I know they told me my corneas were really scratched from no lubrication, don't know if that has anything to do with it. -Gary
