I have a general question I am unable to help find an answer for without contacting SS admin.
When you are on SSDI is there an amount of money you can earn a month without counting towards being back to work or a trail work period.
I know many cannot handle much work but tough times force something to be done even a few dollars part time.
Does anyone know? thanks
hope someone can help with this...i am seeking the same information. Silentscream, how is everything with your family? Hope you are having a great summer.
I found this for you, Silent..hope it helps...follow the yellow brick roads...Love, O.
SSDI and Employment link...
Example how earned income and SSDI work together
Are the links working? If not right click on the link and click open link in a new window....
Yes they are. thank you for the wealth of information.
I am desperate to earn any extra income to help pay my daughters medical bills. There is nothing I won't do if I can. However, I fear SS will take this as a reason to cut me lose. lol
I know they have programs but I am only looking for part time and for my own personal reasons cannot do more and SSDI has been a life saver for me, so I hate to risk but my daughter needs me.
Thanks everyone as always for the info.
THank you for the links and info. I too was wondering about supplemental income or help as I have missed a tremendous amount of work due to flare ups, illness, surgery and I work full time but when i receive my check it is a joke having used all of my sick/vacation time. Bank account is in overdraft almost every month since being sick..sucks!
