I get bursitis (Bursitis is the inflammation of one or more bursae (small sacs) of synovial fluid in the body. The bursae rest at the points where internal functionaries, such as muscles and tendons, slide across bone) and it is usually petty painful. I get mine in the hip or the shoulder. When mine is acting up I usually have to have a steroid shot down into the affected area. Yes, way down there. It honestly it doesnt hurt near as bad as other things I have experienced due to this disease. Although it has it's own name it is caused by the same same inflammation as all the other Lupus things. "just a Lupus thing" doesn't mean it can't be helped or that it isn't important. Until you know for sure what something is you should always get it checked out. Once you have experienced something a couple of times then you know if you should throw it into the "just a lupus thing" box or if it could be something dangerous
