New to forum, not to Lupus
My names Eileen, I'm 48, have SLE, Neuro Lupus, (actually lots of autoimmune now that I've looked at site list, Eek) during last flare diagnosed w type 1 diabetes, ulcerative colitis, RA, fibromyalgia, seizure disorder, pernicious anemia.
I was better off not knowing maybe.
I am really doing well, except the last flare Drs put me on low dose prednisone and migraine won't leave.
For the last few years I was pretty miserable, I'm much better as slowly things are coming together. I think it helps to find that what your feeling is real, why its happening etc.
First started the autoimmune dx's when I was 13, didn't know it was AI, love that Drs forget to inform you.
I've been diagnosed and undiagnosed several times, now I'm diagnosed, have a superb team of Drs finally and doing much better.
I have a great service dog, who does diabetes work, helps w my arthritis and Lupus, her name Is Ania.
I am working toward helping others move forward w their service animals.
Really excited to find the forum and learn more, knowledge is power.
Thanks for having me.
