Hi all I am Maddie and I just found this site.
I have a rash on my face, but have had one negative ANA test (back in January -- when my PCP first suspected Lupus during an office visit for tingling in my scalp). My rash seems to be getting worse, but this month we are treating it like Rosacea and I have a following up appointment in May to see if the rash has dissipated or not.
As for other symptoms, I do have joint and muscle pain, fatigue and coldness in my fingertips/toes. But to me that all seems "normal"... so I don't know if I'd consider them symptoms of Lupus. The only thing that is odd are my urine tests which show elevated creatinine levels (this started about a year ago).
Hi Maddie. Welcome. I was told that my lupus was easier to diagnose because they were able to do a biopsy on my rash. It was actually the dermatologist that discovered it and sent me to a rheumatologist. You may want to try that route since you actually have a rash now. Good luck!
