So glad to hear that things are going so well for you and i pray they will stay that way. Bonita
steve glad to see you are doing so well i am happy for you interesting about aspirin and plaquenil i am on both my rheumi never said anything just must difference of opinion hugs
Thank you for sharing. This has given me hope that if I do get diagnosed, there may be something that will help my quality of life. It's wonderful news..thanks for sharing!
With the right medication to what you have with Lupus and trying to lead a nice steady life but stress free, most likely alot of us would be in steve and nats position but it's terrific news for them both.
i went to see my rhuemy agian today.
he went completely through all of my blood tests, and medications.
it would appear that my lupus is being held at bay.
so much so that today we started 1/2 doses of mtx, i am now on 10mg per week.
my fibro is still acting up, so i have had to modify some of my other medications, (but they are not as strong or dangerous as mtx)
if things stay in check, in 4 months, we will look at reducing my plaquinel as well.
the only down side is my "ibs" and "brain pauses" are not being controlled.
i have a neuro appointment in about 4 weeks, to check on the brain.
my rhuemy does not believe i can do anything about it, but agreed with me that a checkup cant hurt.
once again i must state that it is the drugs doing there job that has my health where it is.
for me the combination of plaquinel and mtx are working.
i am telling all of you, so you hear good news about what may be possible.
my overall health is still not as good as i need, (i still have serious issues), but my lupus is well and truely under control.
Thanks, it's so good to read your good news. Plaq and MTX seem to be working with me also. My parkinson's seems to be moving forward. I can't seem to get there. Hope your neuro has good news too. I see mine on our Halloween. That's scary
