  1. Hey you....breathe the fresh air..deep breaths. How's's the weekend?
  2. To day all my sanity is gone. I really need a smoke. I try to do and think of other things, but - - - - -
  3. I've done a little bit of repair sewing today...testing how I feel if I decide to break out my quilts. Three in boxes wanting to be finished..and I bought material for my mum-in-law quilt. But there its sits too. My husband was mentioning a movie this weekend..I was thinking yard work and plant nurseries......

    Breathing is moch better now and I begin to feel the benefits beeing a non smoker. Thursday I am visiting my doctor and I hope to discuss smoking.
    I am so proud about my self and very content.

  8. I am so sorry about Anna, Karen. Hugs. My Mom had died of cancer and that was motivation for me to quit too.

    It is a tough habit to defeat, but knowing you you will overcome it. Toss the ashtrays and lighters. Open the windows and let the house breathe.

    I remember years after I had quit, I dug out boxes of clothes and things. I could smell the odor of smoke on my things. Funny how we don't notice it when we are puffing.

    Things like that made me realize what non-smokers deal with.

    I was sorry I was jeopardizing their health as well as mine no matter how I thought I was a polite smoker....

    Horray for you...remember when we smoke it is a for to release stress by taking big deep drags off of a cigarette...we can do it without one.

    Breathe in, hold for 10 seconds release slowly through your nose and again till the craving passes and your stress is gone...

    Lots of new stuff here at WHL. A little practice and it will get easier. I hit and miss still.
