I run a low-grade fever(99.5-100.5) for 1-3 hours virtually every evening. My normal temp is 98.1-98.3 so when I do break 100 it seems really hot...

    Hi
Just wanted to say I love Starved Rock too. I left the Chicago suburbs in 1997 to move down here. I lived in Griffith IN and worked downtown in the Prudential building that looks like a pencil. I miss Chicago and all it's goodies.

    Hugs
    Toni

That's funny my wife works in berea I was born and raised here,I actually live in north Olmsted not to far from berea ,I did move to Arizona in 95 and I lived there for 13 years but we had to move, couldn't take the sun and heat anymore, not a good place to live if you have lupus! Although with this wacky weather we have had lately it kinda reminds me of AZ!

Hi n.Mac I actually live in suburb of Cleveland Ohio, not to far from you,I too am fairly new to this site too, everyone here is great, most people don't understand lupus, so it's good to talk to people who understand what your going through, I have had the symptoms of lupus as long as I can remember, although I have not been diagnosed yet I got a rash on face a couple of years ago that would not go away, I went to a derm and she did a biopsy and she told me it was tumid lupus said it very rare and would only effect my skin, but I have all the symptoms of SLE, but anyway welcome to WHL, and if you wanna talk I'm just a click away!

Hi Niall, yes it is horribly hot here. On top of it, I have either picked up a virus or the meds I need to deal with the mass in my uterus are vital. I am waiting on docs to agree I can have progesterin. As if lupus isn't enough. God & I are discussing this added medical issue (grin).

Are you the young man who was diagnosed at a very young age? My thinking is very unclear tonight so forgive me if I am off.

Great to here from you. God help you figure out the nodding off. Have you ever been checked for brain issues (seizures, etc.)? Just a thought. Many on forum have this issue.

Hi Niall, I noticed you are a Christian. I can quote that who verse you have posted. I'm always glad to say hello to a fellow Christian Lupie!

I'm sorry you struggle so terribly with fatigue too. I find it more upsetting than pain. Anyway, wanted to send you a special welcome.

We are in His perfect care in spite of how we feel. This I hold on to as I wait to figure out His plan.

    Be blessed, Tammy
