  3. Howdy,

I haven't posted pics of the toy rooms yet, but I have posted some pics of some of the toys...

    here's a link- http://forum.wehavelupus.com/album.php?albumid=362

I had my third day in a row of IV steroids-feeling like crap. Hope all is well with you!

  4. Hey there,

I saw your post about the Raynauds-I'm sorry to hear that. But, it's at least an answer. And a purple walking stick-cool! If anyone gives you a hard time about using it, just tell them you need it to fend off all of your male admirers.

Talk about coincidence- Right before I read the last visitor message you left me-the one about helicopters and weather, I was looking out the window trying to get an idea of what the wind was like because, you guessed it, I fly R/C helicopters! I have a biggie called a Raptor 90, and a smaller electric heli called a T-rex 450. They both buck the wind pretty well, but I always try to fly when it's calm.

I've got some pics of my toy room(s). As soon as I get a chance to upload them, I'll let you know. Have a good day down there, OK?

  5. I'm glad you had a great birthday! Hey, you should post a picture of your toy room, and I'll do the same. The FOW miniatures aren't too bad scale-wise. The average tank is about the size of a matchbox car. The detail is really nice. The hull and turret is cast resin and the smaller details are white metal. I'm building an Afrika Corps army right now, about 20 vehicles and 50 soldiers total.

We also have a "battle tanks' club here that I participate in. If you've never seen it, it's a game played outdoors on a miniature 1/16 scale battlefield with radio control tanks that fire a laser that simulates combat. The tanks are big, about 3 feet long and 15 lbs weight. They have sound effects, the guns recoil, muzzle flashes, engine sounds, it's a hoot!

    Anyway, have a great day!

  7. Hey there-Happy Birthday!
  8. Hey there,

That's really cool that you are into Warhammer. I'm seen as something of a model building guru, and I've built a bunch of the GW kits for guys in the gaming club I belong to. I just finished a TAU Hammerhead, very nice kit. I'm into a WWII game called Flames of War. It uses 1/100 scale miniatures that you assemble and paint. Lotsa little tanks and soldiers, it's great fun.

You would like my "toy room" I'm a kid at heart, and I have all sorts of vintage toys, models, action figures, lego sets....
...it's rather insane, but that's me.

I hope you have a good, or at least tolerable day,

    Rob
