Oh bloody hell, only if they could diagnose your lupus earlier aye? Thats sucky how little things can change massive things. And your brother in law is correct in some ways, we certainly can be lving in hell at times.
Good luck with whatever your up ta
Not put here to suffer, Just unfortunate to have had to go through what you have gone through, I know it can feel like it at times though. Getting diagnosed with a chronic illness at 17 years old has been tough to take.
Lupus is just an amazing disease, I dont mean in a good way, but its so unique compared to the rest out there. And the frustration that you need to load up on Prednisolone just to improve your results is awful. Unless you get lucky enough to have your illness in control even on low doses which is what I am aiming to achieve.
And I will let you know that I have indeed had a smashing 'football' weekend, with both my football clubs winning (Australian and English), Essendon (AFL) Newcastle (EPL) =D
Also I have never really paid attention to the profiles and such on WHL. I have noticed that its almost like myspace these days, with profile pics and folders and wotnot. Perhaps I need to update my profile like the rest.
Till next time Terri!
Its amazing how I didnt think to give you my name, Its Gordon, and im guessing you know im 19? I must admit im very impressed how you were active even though you were born with issues, you must be a tough cookie haha. And all that stuff you went through must of been incredibly draining and difficult which I am deeply sorry you had to go through.
Once again GORDON!
Thank you so much for understanding. I get the feeling people often think "get over it, its just water retention" unfortunately my brain doesn't see it that way, however I certainly wish it did! I really do have deep sympathy for you and all your problems, and the fact that you were born with Lupus, I hope everything gets easier for you in some way.
You have told me your case so I will spill mine. I was always sporty, athletic, energetic ect, all the things that you wouldn't associate with Lupus. Then I slowed down somewhat at 15-16. My stamina worsened and I had no clue why, getting out of bed became near impossible, which led to incredible sickness, kilos and kilos of swelling in all parts of my body, to eventually being diagnosed with SLE at 17. Im "HOPING" that im approaching better times now, but you have to keep your chin down with Lupus and not get carried away.
Just popping by to say HI!
