Thanks for your prayers. Things are a little better with my Mom. She's doing better from her falls. Doctor put her on new meds. But her memory is getting worse. She just stops doing things she use to. Then my sister and I start doing them for her. Are you doing OK ? Hope your well.

  4. Bola is his nickname. Even if shortened I believe it means this child brings honor but I think I had mention how I got my screen name. Oluwa, short for Ikeoluwa which mean God has authority over me in Yoruba. In Nigeria there are many different dialects including English, as it was under British rule until I believe 1991. In Bola's family they speak Yoruba and all names boys and girls are interchangibley. Like Modupe my sister in law but men also use it. I also have a sister in law by marriage by Bola's, named Bola. What really matters is the meaning, each baby, born on any day, the first and etc. They name that child according. It is a big tradition even there.

Food for me cause pain me, I have Gerdie then toss is endless stress, disbelief squashes my thoughts of food. That is why I say I feel in perpetual fear. Grief is fear to instill such heart, chest and stomach pain..As of late, I drop a Xanax, Tramadol and try to muddle through. Happy Day! I am making the most of mine.OX
  5. Hi Sandy, feeling better this weekend? Food, I try to eat but it doesn't make my stomach feel to good afterward, but I now enjoy the taste once again. After Bola died, nothing tasted good. I ate like a bird...Now I can manage a small meal a day. He was, still is the days in my life..emotionally and mentally. I miss him. I want him to be physically too...sigh. I will look for the blog...usually I am not one for blogs...but this may change my mind....

Enjoy this day....mine has just started, so I hope I will...OX
  6. Oh, no apology needed at all, Sandy...I hope you are feeling better today. Issues in the digestive track are so hard....affects your whole well being....hugs. XO
  7. I still live in the feeling of fear...it never seems to go away.

I bought a new built home, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath...thinking of it as an investment...in the future for resale when I get older and gray and ready to move back where my roots are..maybe when I am 70.. Very small yard, unlike in our other home..I may just do potted flowers. We miss the pool....the rain here would fill the pool a 100 times.

My animals are old, 16 but full of spunk...I know soon the years will take there toll on them and from me. We have an appointment for an exam this week. Riley is pee pee pants, wetting her bed....and Pookie, drinking and eating more than ever...diabetes? Will find out soon....

Thank you for thinking of me...OX
  8. Howdy,

No firesuit yet, as the car was just delivered yesterday. We got it into the garage-but just barely. It is one long car. I have to wedge myself into it and have some measurents done for the arm restraints and such. We'll probably go to Portland next week to get measured for the suit. It takes a couple of weeks for them to put it all together. Hope you are having a good weekend so far!

    Rob
  9. Hi Sandy,

I got your email and saved it but haven't looked at it yet. My computer crashed yesterday, so I've been re-formatting the whole hard drive. What a pain that is. Now I have to track down this person sending viagra ads under my name. Frakking internet pisses me off sometimes.

Got it unlocked so I can answer more!

I really thought I was going to get chewed out over that! I now know why I haven't because it has been locked! LOL Every time I opened that thread to say something I just could feel myself get angry! It took a few days to to figure out exactly what was upsetting me! You just hit the nail on the head! I don't want to have to explain EVERY DAY what is wrong with me! I think I am just crabby today and I decided to answer!

New Photo Album

by SandyR on 06-27-2009 at 11:05 PM
I decided to start an album of my symptom pics. I am calling it This Is What I Look Like When I Flare. Obviously, there are symptoms that are just not photographic (fatigue for example) but these are selections of ones that are. I wanted a place to share with you what my symptoms look like and get feedback on them. Please feel free to swing by and leave a comment. I will try to add new photos of symptoms from time to time.

unusual worry

by SandyR on 06-24-2009 at 09:11 PM
this may sound a little weird but I am a little worried. I have a 2nd opinion appointment with a new rheumy on the 2nd and right now I am feeling soooooooooo good, that I am barely showing any flare signs. Ankle swelling, gone. Stomach has been good. Psoriasis on eyelids cured with the FML. Random rash on legs just a mere scar now. Cheeks noticeably less red lately. Energy level is up. Joints are feeling good enough to go dancing and walking again. *sigh* I realize that this is actually

I have a blog?!?!

by SandyR on 06-17-2009 at 07:13 PM
Wow! I just realized that I have a blog on here. Cool. What to say, what to say? Tomorrow I am going to PA to see my niece graduate high school. Makes me feel very old. I am going to swing through NJ on the way home to see dad, which is really good since it's Father's Day and also my youngest brother's bday. Work was good today. Got alot accomplished. Cleaned up a ton of files. Got the supply order put away. Almost done with a report for one of my bosses. Overall, pretty good. Was tired
