Oh, did a blood test on the 5th and got the results yesterday. I'm seriously lacking Vitamin D and might have Fibromyalgia. However, I have an awkward rash that isn't going away and doesn't hurt or itch, and a few blood tests that were "off". Still waiting to see what those are.

Good for you! Love your attitude lol. Seriously though, they let people wear berka for religious purposes, but yours is for health. what's the difference, honestly. Even if it was just for fun, they should still take it into consideration. You achieved a goal, everyone who saw the hat is aware now, even if it's only for a day, but they'll remember and next time they hear about it, I bet they'll look it up. Love the orchid pictures on your facebook btw, really pretty.

Freedom of expression. Unfortunatly, I think that while on school grounds, that right is waived. Also, what's so different about the two hats that he likes the original one over the Lupus Now one? Just crazy. Besides, there's a reason why it's awareness day. They let people walk around with pink bands and hats for breast cancer and don't have a problem. Lupus isn't in a "private" area, so why bother you at all about it? I don't know if I should be or not, but I absolutly agree with you.

It's still better than failing altogether. It's not your fault, and knowing that is what's most important.

They should at least look at and include your previous grades though. I'd imagine that would make a greater impact rather than this single grading period. I hate how stupid the school can be about these things.

No kidding. My dad's like, "well, as long as you try". Same way I think of it. As long as it's at least a C I'm happy. Of course, if it's an A, I'm extatic. Especially in math lol. At least it's almost over! It will be such a relief to have a break from studying. After exams it's a breeze. For me, it was pretty much all preperation and the scrapbook assignment. Hope it's the same for you too (the scrapbook was fun, so it didn;t really feel like an assignment though lol)

It's fine. School is important, so don't worry about it. I got a C on my math exam and still waiting on my Ethics.

XD I bet you do a whole lot better than me. I know what you mean. I'd mess up in my french class for the same reason. Funny thing is, my teacher kept telling me that canadians in Toronto and anywhere closer to quebec only spoke French. I made a fool of myself in the airport while trying to ask for directions. I asked "Parle vouz englais?" the women responded "I'm sorry, I don't speak french". I love that she answered my question without even understanding it. I'm stressed about tomorrow since both of my finals are one after the other. Especially math since she only drops the lowest grade if it helps your score, but the exam grade stays. Not to mention that I lost my ethics papers so I didn't get to read them. PS. I'm amazed. the beetle's still alive. XD I had to move it to the kitchen last night because I was afraid of getting nightmares after listening to it scratch at the glass before going to bed.

Happy to hear it! My dad found this really neat beetle so I asked him if he could help me catch it. Our two concerns were that it bites (with it's mean-looking pincers) and flies. Turns out that it eats the roots of trees so it's bite would be painful, and my worst fear, it does fly. It turned out to be the adult form of a grub. It's called a Palo Verde beetle, and it's native to Arizona, not Florida. I have in a glass container. Happy we caught it before it git to my new fig trees and berry bushes.
Only if I get an A or B. with my previous grades being an A, a D, and 3 C's, it's so not going to happen. I'm only concerned that I pass. I was never good at math, so I'm not going to hope to get better than a C on the final.
