  3. Yes, My husband and I have been battling flu like symptoms for a few days now and I have had swollen glands as well, but I just found out that my white blood cell count has dropped to 3.4 again so makes sense my immunity is very low! It is making me crabby so need to think of something fun to do; thank God for our pooch. She is badly in need of a haircut and bath right now so just need to look at her and I start smiling and chuckling at how much like a junk yard dog she looks like while she is munching on a prime rib bone!!!!!
Hope you feel better soon!!!! Have you had recent blood work done?

  8. Oh my goodness, I am so sorry. We chose not to have kids because I was already in my mid 30's when we married and although I had not yet been diagnosed with lupus, I had a lot of medical problems which of course later made sense. I was certainly glad in retrospect that we made the choice not to have kids because I would never want to bring children into this world when you have this unpredictable disease.
I am in the process of getting a new digital camera so I can take some pics of Samantha and will post as soon as I can.
Are you in a remission now or do you have ongoing problems with your lupus?
ps: I love the name Cheddar!

You should put up pics of Samantha. I would love to see her. My cat's name is Cheddar. We don't have children either. Just the one cat. Want another dog. Can't have children. The Lupus shut down my ovaries. But I am use to it now.

So sorry about the lost of your Cat. Do you have any pets now? My cat helped me so much when I lost my dog. Take care and hope you are well.
