Journey to my first half marathon.

First Month -- 30/30 rule

Ok so the first month was rocky! No surprises there.
The program I followed went like this:
walk for 15 minutes in one direction, then run for 30 seconds, walk for 30 seconds all the way back.

This is the ultimate beginner runner's workout. it went ok for the most part, except for the week off due too bronchitis!!!. Geez can I please catch a break! Ive actually felt a difference physically after the first month,, not much tho. definitely not ready for the half marathon yet! well the plan is to run a 5km by early next year, perhaps march.
thennn, in this order: god willing, another 5km, a 10km, 13km then finally, the my ultimate 2011 goal.
The HALF MARATHON!
