  1. I feel so achey today :(

A few days ago my rheumatologist said I could lower my prednisone to 12.5mg! Yay! But today, about 3 days later, I feel very achey. My feet, knees, hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, pretty much EVERYWHERE hurts! I went to the gym this morning thinking it might help but it just made me feel worse. This sucks because I have a lot planned for today. I'm going out to lunch with my dad and then we're going shopping for a new BBQ, which I've wanted for a VERY long time. Then I was going ...

  2. Alone again

Well my family (except me) has gone camping. I try to put on a brave face as they leave. The fact is I don't like being left alone. There is the whole aspect of not being able to do what I used to be able to do. Then there is the other side the fact that I am afraid to be left alone. The only thing that keeps me sane is my dogs. 5. It just keeps getting better!!!

A lot has happened since I last posted in here... and it's all good! The day after my last appointment with my rheumatologist, I went to see another rheumatologist up at UCLA. He pretty much reassured me that my rheumatologist was doing the right thing in terms of my treatment, and he was extremely impressed with my progress as he was looking at my lab results over the course of the last several months. I was also able to participate in a few studies they were conducting at UCLA. They didn't ...
