My leaking of protein from the urine was at 600 mls a few weeks ago, its now improved to 200 mls and my kidney specialist has agreed to lower my Prednisone intake in 5 days time if results are still steady and moving in the right direction.

I know I often get on this site and yammer on about myself and steroids, but I just feel its the only place to let out my feelings, sorry if im annoying to some.

Although having Lupus Nephritis is tough, certainly in its early stages, which I still cnsider myself to be in.

That is excellend news. I hope you will off the Prednisone soon and back to your old self. Keeping doing all the right things so you can get back to enjoying the things you did before you were sick.

That's what we are all here for to lean on one another for support. Its great because people here understand what you are going through. We all need a place to let out things other people don't quite understand.
I sure hope you continue to do better and can come off the prednisone. I know the stuff wrecks your body but you know I feel better taking the higher doses. I'm on low dose now and holding my own for now.

As you can see, we are here for you when you need to vent and we completely understand. I, too, hope that you are able to taper off of the Prednisone entirely. But, please do not consider it a set back if you find that you have to up your dose now and then, or if you have to stay on a maintenance dose. For many of us, the nature of the disease requires that we have to continue to deal with Prednisone..I hope you do not, but please do not beat yourself up or get depressed if you find that you do.
We are here for you :-)

Peace and Blessings
