I recently spoke to someone that informed me of this progress. This drug, being developed and is at 3/4 stage of testing has been found helpful to SLE patients that have a more severe case of Lupus, and has some positive effects for those that have milder cases. The drug is not out yet, but there is progress! and it gives me hope for the future of Lupus patients. Please read the article for more information. This gave me some hope-- wish you all the same.

Ok I'm an idiot but what did all that mean? Is there another study and if so how can I get my rheumy the info to get in? I was in one study for a while and it was great! Over 2 years and minimal discomfort with no major flares. It was a great break for me!

:D Thanks tatiana!

I'm not a doc, and dont often read thatlevel stuff. But yes it is confusing, twinnie!

What I got out of it, the research and the initial clinical studies are done - now they need to develop it a bit more and get it out. Cool, another treatment that could help many of us!
