Never in my life until last year did I have a nosebleed. Now, I've had several for no reason.

Hey Panda, I think I may can help you. I was getting nosebleeds quite frequently. Most of all my nose was just dry and then it would just start bleeding. My dad did some research and found out that if your magnesium is low then you will get nosebleeds. A lot of us with Lupus have Magnesium deficiencies. The day he told me that I took a Phillips magnesia tablet and felt relief, but for the long term I just take a basic Magnesium supplement. My Mag was low b/c I had to up my Vitamin D.
I'm still learning all of this so it seems like one vitamin requires another! I have had no problems since the magnesium though. Good luck!

thanks Islablue.....I am really lax with the vitamins! The doc told me to take D...and I have read about the mag. I also heard the mag could help my muscle twitches. I guess keeping the vitmans safe in the bottle isn't helping me...lol.
