kim - I am sorry to hear about sarah. this weather causes me many of her symptoms too with the breathing and heart palpatations. The humidity feels like I am breathing through a wet washcloth all day long. I am hoping that your new apt has some nice AC? Does she use an inhaler? I find that helps me a little in this weather too. I've had the ecg and halter moniter and those are very easy tests. When does she get her monitor?
I am sorry to here that stephen is still suffering as well. Is it still the river thing (I forgot the proper name at the moment)? Are the doctors also thinking this is a sign of a stroke coming? how's mikaela doing?
I can only imagine how exhausted you must be. You have had a lot of heavy things on your plate for a very long time and I am hoping and praying that things lift for you soon.

Hi Kim,
I know that we worry about our familys' health, but you really need to look after your own health so that you can take care of the family.
I hope that Sarah and Stephen are doing better this week and that those docs can finally give you some answers.
Please, please take good care of yourself, too. Keep us informed.
Gentle Hugs,
Marla

Kim,
Don't be afraid to accept any help that you are offered, sweetie. If someone can come in and take some of the load of the day-to-day job of keeping up a house off of your shoulders, it might relieve some of your stress.
As we've been telling you, take care of yourself and don't try to be everything for everybody.
Gentle Hugs,
Marla

What's that saying about God carrying us when we can't stand on our own? Sometimes he sends mere humans to do that job.
I agree with Marla, you should not be worried about accepting the help. Right now you need it and you have needed for a long time so I am glad to hear that your doctor is trying to find a way to help you help yourself and your family.

Kim i am so sorry for all the miseries that you family is having but God never gives us more than we can handle and at this time that may not seem true to you. He cares for us all and loves us. I hope and pray that things will turn around for you and never feel that you are giving up when you have to depend on someone else to help. I know that i do not want anyone to take care of me and i have always been the caregiver but times are changing and i have to accept it. Love and prayers Bonita

Oh, Kim, do take some help. There is no one that can "do it all" and it sounds like you have too much on you to try and handle yourself.
If you take care of yourself then you'll be better able to care for everyone else. Hang in and hang on there will be brighter days ahead! Hillbillie

That's some great news Kim. I know you've been through some very difficult times these past few years. I'm glad some positive things are finally happening for you. The independant living center sounds like a good deal.

Kim I am so glad to hear that you are having some positive happenings going on around you. A mini shopping spree sounds good to me! I know you will feel a lot more functionable once you have some of your new toys. And congrats on asking for help! I don't know why it is so hard for us to do that, but I am certainly glad you did.
