Congrats, Lindsay!
Baylor is a good school, and they have an excellent Latin program, too. They host a Latin day for high school students on the campus every year. Take advantage of it, and take some Latin while you're an undergrad. It will help you so much with all of the medical terminology that you will have to learn!
Ah, the Latin teacher in me is coming out again....
Good luck next year in college,
Marla

Gee, New Yorkers!! LOL!!!
Baylor is in Waco, Texas. That's why this old former Texas teacher knew it well.
One problem with Waco, though (at least for adults) - it's a dry town. We spent the night there once, and had a great Tex-Mex dinner, but when I tried to order a Margarita to go with it, the waiter got a little uppity with me. Fort Worth and Dallas aren't very far away, though.

LOL! Does it help if I told you I've lived in Texas too? Even lived on an AFB. I thought it was TX but it being the 2nd largest state and all, I just wasn't sure. NY is big, but TX is 5x bigger!!!! :wideeyed:
