For Christmas i would want world peace and that my family would start behaving like a family and stop all the feuds. This has been going on for some time and all summer when i was sick the stress of coping with this is what caused me to have flares and one of the worst ones i ever had. Peace on Earth and thank God for His Son. Love Bonita

For Christmas I'm getting a brand-new grandson! He should arrive anytime from now to New Year's. I just want him and his mommy to be happy and healthy.

I hope you get that Wii.

Oh Marla...what a very wonderful present!

Beautiful Bonita... I hope and pray you get that present today, the earlier the better... and it keeps on giving all year round. And Karen, that you get all your heart's desires dear. I'm wondering what a sewing machine like that must do.

I'm praying this Christmas blesses each of you here at WHL richly!

I'd like a good rheumy that makes house calls...but to be more realistic, I'd love one of those large comfy foot massage machines...the one that heats up and pampers your feet with the soft small balls that knead...I asked last year and didn't get it. *sniff* I must have been naughty.

I wish for a good job for my children here in NY , so that they can all move here from Texas. I miss them so much, especially at christmas time.
The grandkids are growing up and I am not a part of it. Seing them once a year is just not enough.
Of course Marla, you have the best present of all.

For Christmas, I would wish for my Dad to get well and not have bad days anymore. Also, I wish my Mom was not so hard on him as he does it all now.

For Christmas, I ask that all of us have a day without lupus....that we all have someone to share the day with, and that we all eat too much yummy food.....a little christmas cheer would be the icing on the cake.

Is Daisy Red Ryder a porn star?

Sorry....I just couldn't resist. I'm assuming that's a gun????

Yes, it's a BB gun. My joke is from the movie A Christmas Story, the kid, Ralphie wants a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun, but everyone tells him he can't have one because he'll shoot his eye out. Funny stuff. I actually have 3 antique Red Ryders, so I probably don't need another. As far as a porn star, I'm not really in the market for that, however, I would be very happy if Santa could give me Kate Beckinsale's phone number. Or Alison Krauss if Kate is too busy.

Alison Krauss--very talented and beautiful woman.

I'm assuming you're going to see Everybody's Fine since your dream woman, Kate Beckinsale, is starring in it? DH and I were going to go see it this weekend, but it didn't turn out to be a good weekend for that, so maybe next weekend we'll take the girls. If you see it, let me know how it is and if it's worthy of a full price admission, matinee or rental (that's our official scoring system).

You've got good taste, Rob. I only hope that you sent your letter to Santa soon enough so that his elves can track down their numbers :)

I wish I could help, but I despise crowds, and I hate standing in line, so the only movies I see at the theatre are the big Sci-fi flicks like Star Trek, or a period or historical flick like The Aviator. Everything else, I wait to see on DVD.

Santa has my list. I don't know about Kate, but I've actually met Alison, and she is an incredibly nice, down to earth woman. Hard to believe after you meet her, that she has more Grammy's under her belt than any other female singer in history, but she does. Smart, talented beyond belief, beautiful, and funny-she has an amazing sense of humor. Yes, I'm a bit smitten with her!

For Christmas, I want to just enjoy the day peacefully and painfree. I want my family to realize how important it is for us to be there for each other and to understand that we are all we have when all the outside influences and factors are gone. I want to not feel guilty about not wanting to go to my dads. I want someone to come by and magically clean my house and pay my bills. I want to be able to volunteer and help someone who really needs it. I want to feel more into the season and less like a grinch this year.

PS - Allison Krauss is one of my favorite singers and When You Say Nothing At All is one of my favorite songs.

Am I showing my age by the fact that I immediately recognized what Rob was referring to with the Daisy Red Ryder, or just the fact that I've raised a son? My boy watched that movie so many times!

Congratulations, Grandma Marla!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! I hope he arrives by Christmas, but whenever he does, it will be such a wonderful gift for your family.

My Christmas wish is for health, peace, and happiness for everyone. I hope all of us are able to enjoy the holiday, however we choose to celebrate it, and that this year brings us many happy healthy days.

I also want to be more at peace with everything, to get back into healthy patterns of eating, sleeping, and making decisions. To make time for people that matter to me as much as I can, and to -finally - get serious about my dream...

All kidding aside, I just want to get up on Christmas day and feel well enough to participate in the days activities with my family. I hope all of us can do that. And I hope I have an appetite. I've been dealing with this strange state of mind that I get into sometimes where nothing tastes good. Weird stuff.

And, I hope my nephew has a safe trip home from where ever he is (he is in an Army Special Forces unit and can't always tell us where he is deployed). He has 2 weeks of leave, and will be here on the 22nd. Can't wait to see him.
