Hello to all of my FRIENDS! I miss you all when im away even for just a few days!:hissyfit: I know theres been alot of sickies around here lately and i just wanted to say, PLEASE be ALERT to how you are feeling and be on top of it with your dr. Ive been in the bad habit of just "dealing" with my symptoms when they are WORSE than usual, BUT, i paid for it this past Friday and through the weekend (and im STILL not better yet). I started spitting up blood and having BAD NAUSEA and HEADACHES worse than usual. My dr sent me to the ER and they did SOME tests (Bronchitis) and im still feeling OOKY:wacko: I waited too long before going in and the infection got worse. I go bak to my dr tomorrow for some MORE tests through another specialist. Possible plaque build up as well. My constant FLARES from these viruses i KEEP GETTING has possibly caused other serious problems. Im one to just "deal with it" and trudge on along through an illness on top of my lupus, sjogrens, raynauds and fibromyalgia. This is NOT GOOD for us Loopies:no: So PLEASE be SAFE than SORRY and catch things in your system BEFORE it can hurt you more. DONT EVER feel like a "bother" to your dr. YOUR HEALTH IS WORTH IT! HUGS to EVERYONE!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi Jeannette,

Sorry to hear that you feel bad.
I am like you, I always wait to long, before I see the doctor. But I promised my husband to change that, if I feel bad for three days, I will go and see the doc., instead of waiting 2-3 weeks. I just can't see myself going to the doctor for all that ails me, because then I have to live with my doctor.

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh Jeannette, that sounds plain miserable! I'm glad you FINALLY went to ER, but for Heaven's sake, don't wait so long before going next time!

Stay off of your feet, drink lots of liquids (especially with the Sjogren's), order take-out for dinner and just relax. Please let us know what the doctor says tomorrow.

OMG Debbie, you and I ARE so much alike. It sounds like the PROMISE i had to make to MY HUSBAND as well! LOL:yes: He gets so MAD at me for WAITING and not getting myself in soon enough. Im like you though, if i TRUELY DONT THINK i HAVE to go to the drs. i WONT. BUT, it CAN bite us in the BUTT!:spank: LOL

AWWWW, THANK YOU Bonusmom! How SWEET OF YOU! YOU SOUND just like a MOM too! LOL "Fluids and rest"! SO CUTE and THOUGHTFUL! I guess im having a "feel sorry for myself" moment cuz i wanted to cry reading your kind words and the others. Not having my MOM around in these more OOKY moments makes me sad sometimes. BUT, it is what it is! I will get through this like i always have! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

So sad that your not well.
Good advice though, and I really hope your feeling better soon.
It really has been a bad month for all us loopies when it comes to pneumonia, bronchitis, colds, etc.
Take care, and get well.

Hey Jeannette,

I am so sorry you have brochitis!! I, like you, am one to just deal with whatever might be going on at the time. We really need to change that!

This spring I had a very bad cold. I dealt with all the symptoms, I even lost my voice for about one week. When I finally went to my docotor she was pretty upset at me for waiting. She did a chest x-ray and it turned out that I had a spot on my lung and was on the verge of pneumonia. I couldn't believe it, I was pretty angry at myself then.

So...now that this has become a long story :cute: let me finish my saying that I wish you a quick recovery and PLEASE (and I will take this advice as well) do your best not to "deal with" any symptoms.

awwww Netters!!!! I was wondering about you- as you already know...but this isn't what I was hoping you were doing while you were away from us! :skeptical: I hope you are beginning to feel better, and I am glad you got your fanny up and went to your ER! Thank God you didn't advance to walking pneumonia! What were you getting tested for at the Docs today and what did they say??? Geesh! If only you were closer I would make you a big old pot of homemade chicken soup chock full of vitamins to get you feeling better sooner. :cute: Go rest yourself and feel better soon!

Hope you are feeling better my thoughts are with you. I guess we sometimes lose the fact that we have a serious illness now and not like before we thought it would just go away but with these dieases we have to be more carefull and we do not like addimitting this. Love and prayers bonita

Hope you are feeling better soon! Sending you some homemade chicken noodle soup, a nice, big comfy blanket & some tea w/honey & lemon! Okay, well at least it's the thought that counts! :)

I have been sick for the past month w/bronchitis & it's no fun! My kids always yell at me when I don't take care of myself or try to do too much! They make me laugh!

Take care of yourself & get better soon!
