Hello all

Just wanted to share with you my bit of good news

I had a long think about getting a second opinion in my lupus needs, My rhumey is really good and very nice, i do like him, but when i go to see him hes only ever intrested in my joint pain, he doesnt help me with the other things ive been experiencing...that comes with the lupe, dont get me wrong i do write a list of stuff and take it to him but thats all it comes to he says yes yes yes lets deal with one thing at a time...aaarrrggghhhh i forget when i go back to see him.

Anyway moving on i went to see my GP today for my drug reveiw..which went well i guess and i asked her if she could transfer me to St Thomas hospital in London they have a centre there that specialises in lupus...woohooo she said she would write to them and let me know, she understands how important it is to me that i get into that hospital and not Addenbrookes in Cambridge as thats a teaching hospital ive had dealings with that place and they are good but i need to see someone who knows and understands what living with lupus is like.

Ive also been told by one of their patients that they have a hotel next to the centre and u can stay there and eat for free, when they need to test etc, as London is a bit of a mission to get to they have ppl traveling all over the world to get help from the centre.

So i will let y'all know when i hear from them in the ~BIG~ decision

Thanx for listening to me
