I was finally able to get in to the clinic yesterday.... It took me a couple of weeks the first appointment was canceled and then the second was canceled... At that point I was thinking I was never going to get in...

Finally I was there yesterday... It took me all day to get everything completed... They don't have a ruemy dr but this is better than nothing....

Still have no ideas on how to get to a ruemy dr. but at least the clinic is getting me all my meds at no charge now... I came out of that clinic with 8 meds yesterday...

It seemed to be a nice place, everyone there was nice... didn't like the fact that I had to explain a few of my conditions to them, they acted like they had never delt with someone that had all my problems but they did say that they talked to my regular dr which was good...

I took all my meds last night for the first time in a long time... Maybe now I can start feeling some better.... I am doped up from some of the meds so i don't know if this post will make any sence.... I am hoping that in a few days I want be as dopped up and sleepy.... but it is a good thing because I have not had any sleep for over 3 days last night was the first night I was able to get sleep...I have been having terrible pains in my arms down in my bones and couldn't do anything.

sorry if this came across scrambeled up

hi lea, i am so glad that you finally got into the clinic. I know this has been a very frustrating series of events, and you have worried so much about the cost of drs. and meds. Sometimes a more compassionate medical provider is better than the most knowledgeable specialist who appears not to even care about you. I hope they will continue to help you, and keep you on your meds. Glad you got some sleep last night, i hope today is even better for you. Congratulate yourself, you stood strong for your health care, and now you have someone who will work with you. P.S. If you rambled in your post, i did not notice....

Leann,
I am glad to hear that they were finally able to keep your appoitment and were nice to you. What did they put you on? What is the medication supposed to help you with? Did they offer you a suggestion for a rheumy?

Your post was very readable, sweetie. Keep us posted, okay?

thanks everyone,
they had no ideas on how to get to a rhumey, but did say that they would call around about one to see what they could find out... Had to go to the hospital yesterday and have some blood test done... just the mornal stuff... for iron and diabtes cbc and so on nothing major...

most the the meds that they gave me I have been taking for diabates my iron, ibs, asthma but did get some meds for my pain which I don't usually like to take but at this point I didn't have a choice.... the bones in my arms have been killing me to the point to where I can not do anything....

the lady I saw did agree with my regular about the lupus... I showed her the rash that I have on my neck and she said it was classic lupus rash...

I think my husband was glad I was able to get the meds I know he has been worried about me alot lately and he has been making sure that I take my meds everyday since sometimes I can not remember whats going on...

I do feel alot better than I did since I started back taking the meds and have been able to sleep... Saturday night I sleep 12 hours it wasn't the best sleep but it was sleep...

the weather here has turned cold and that has caused me some problems but that I am dealing with... just seem to be very tired lately...

will keep everyone updated... and hopes to find a rhumey soon...

leann,

How are you feeling today? I am glad to hear that you had some restful sleep. Are the meds helping you manage your pain better? The cold really bothers me too so I feel for you with that.

Sandy
