Just want to let you know i went to my rhuemotologist yesterday for my six week chech up and had a list of things i took with. July has not been a good month for me for many issues but he answered all i had to ask. I was in the er on Sunday night for the worst uti i have ever had. The lab results showed i had high levels of red and white cells and a lot of blood. I knew that because every time i went to the bathroom it was blood and pain. Since i have been having bladder problems with blood and sometimes there is no infection he is sending me to a uroilogist to see if maybe there is a reason for all of this. He told me that my glands in my neck and underarms soreness is from the lupus. The pain in my wrist and thumb joint and swelling is osteoartirits and gave me a splint for it. And my horrible cramps that i am having in my hands-feet-toes-and legs is probably because of my anemia. So that is where i stand right now Love Bonita

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through so much. Your doctor seems to have an answer for all of your aches and pains. However, other than the splint for the thumb and the wrist, did he prescribe any treatment for your other issues? I know that there is something you can take to help with anemia, and there is treatment for the soreness in your neck and underarm glands.
I do hope that you can start to feel better soon. Sending you hugs of understanding!
Peace and Blessings

He is looking into infussion for iron because every thing that i take orally gives me bad stomach cramps because of my gerd and barrotts esophagagus. Now that i was on and antibiotic my glands are not so sore i guess maybe the infection in my bladder was part of it because my temps were up again every day for the last month or so. Thank you for all the kind words. Bonita

Bonita I hope you are feeling better today! I've had to do Iron infusions a few times too! I can't take the oral iron....I get horrible constipation and cramps! The infusions are great! I've had no side effects from it. I've received Venofer.

I've got a sensitive GI tract too, but nothing is so bad that they're pushing me to take supplements yet. Although one specialist was really pushing the iron big time, but I refused to do it. I'd suffer worse if I did. My pcp did some checking and my iron isn't that low so... I get to avoid it.
So sorry you've had to go through this Bonita. ((((Hugs)))
