I polished up one of the posts I made here a while back and published it to Associated Content.

Helping others wade through the maze and mess of the medical system by providing brief instructions on creating an outline to maximize health care specialist visits and becoming an active part of your health care.

You can find the article located here:

Hiya Girlindallas,

I remeber this thread and I have used your outline method before and it does significantly help, but you need to make sure you speak up keep a copy and read each question to the doctor to force a response. My 58 yr old mom I write up questions for her to ask and she just hands them to the doctor and all they give her is a general "yes I've checked for that". So like Girlindallas said "be an advocate for yourself" speak up.
THANKS A BUNCH Girlindallas!!!! :thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

One of the articles I want to write about Lupus I would like to refer specifically to this forum. Of all of the forums I've been to, this one has been the most helpful
