I have just watched the Today Show and now I am sitting here sobbing. The singer Rob Thomas has performed a song about his wife who has a auto immune disease ( I don't know which), the song is called Her Diamonds. You can listen to it on you tube, I don't know how to put the link in here, but maybe somebody knows how to do it. You guys need to listen to this song, he sings about the frustration of the spouses of people with this illness.

very sweet!

theres a line in that song where he says summin like "She's laying on the bed cryin, i dont know what to do for her so i lay down and cry too" that really reminds me of several times where normas been over here, and ive broke down Shh but i think she has too, then it makes ya feel worse cause uve made ya other half sad.

good morning to everyone....hope you all are planning a wonderful holiday. And to my "over the pond" friends....just plan a party and say you are celebrating for your USA friends.

Good song. I saw his band Matchbox 20 live a couple of years ago, and Rob Thomas was awesome. He played piano when they did the song "Bright Lights", one helluva talented guy. And of course, I like his first name, easy for me to remember!

I love that song, but I didn't realize that his wife Marisol had an autoimmune problem. Now I understand why I have been able to identify so strongly with the lyrics.

Rob and Matchbox 20 are my favorite musical artists. I have seen him and Matchbox live about 10 times now, they are just awesome. Rob writes lyrics that touch your heart so much. He has written songs about his wife before Her Diamonds. This song from his first solo album touched me so much, it's my absolute favorite song. He has a acoustic version on ITunes that I can just cry to ever time I hear it. Here's the link to his video, his beautiful wife he wrote the song for is in the video.
