Just wanted to wish all the Father's......

as well as the Father's of all of us members....and the Father's of our children....

Thank you for all the wonderful things you do every day as a Father....most of all....thank you for being there for your children and providing the special kind of Love that only a Father can provide.

Enjoy your special day!

i agree happy fathers day to all you fathers out there!!!!
and to toby happy first fathers day!!!! how exciting!!!!!
i just wanted to add my thought are with all whos father can't be with us in person on this day!!
as many of you know my dad now looks down on me from heaven so i like to do a little some thing on his bday and fathers day i like to send a ballon up with the kids well for many reason it was npt possible but i did find this really sweat ballon you can get and each one has a card with with different mesages and the i pick up had this

Missing You

A sight, a sound or time of year
awaken memories held with in, your
face a smile, a silly look, or perhaps
your voice a calling.

Reminder of what used to be in days
locked in past times, sometimes
bringing silent tears for those now
left behind.

I embrace these thoughts with
tenderness when they come to mind,
for your presence then is all around
and comfort at last i find.

I watch this ballon drift
to the skies,
a symbol of our love
that never dies

i just thought it was just so beautiful
i also thought it would be nice if we put up photos of dads that mean alot ot us our own, our childrens or parents xx

so i'll start with a photo of 3 my dad my brother who cam a dad for third time and my grandad whos been bit of rock throu my child hood

And thanks for sharing the pics of the special Fathers and Grandfather in your life. That's a great idea! Your Dad makes me smile with every picture I see. It's absolutely evident he was a Joy-filled Father and so happy and proud of his children.

I'll have to search for some photos of my Dad....brb

Okay...I have tested out my scanning abilities with my new printer and if I did all things correctly, I will post a picture of my Father, Richard.....who is the best Father in the world, and likes Archery, betting on the ponies, playing in Las Vegas, enjoying his hard-earned Retirement, and history, especially World War II.....

and Bruce, my Husband, and the Father of my two children, Jordan and Haley....who is a Software Engineer and CTO, passionate about racing cars, plays the guitar, loves music, can fix almost anything, and is a better cook than I am....(he was a breakfast cook, baker, & pastry chef for 15 years.)

The first pic is of my Dad and Mom in Las Vegas...

The next one is my Husband, Bruce, next to his racecar at Portland Rose Cup Races 2009.....

And finally, a family pic of my Husband and I, and our 2 children vacationing in Maui in 2004....

It brings me joy to share with you the two most important Men in my life!

with Love,

:cool2: Lori...a.k.a. rastagirl

hi ladies, i have to join in on this one.

first, happy father's day to each of our cyber family guys, and to all of the husbands of our cyber family girls. I would also like to add Rob's father to this list....dads, like grandads, are precious gifts.

now, lori, what a precious family....thank you so much for sharing them with us. I am so thankful that you have Bruce....he is truly a gift, and you truly deserve the best.

angel and heidi, my grandad is probably partying with your dads....he taught me how to blow the head off a bear, and i was a tiny thing.

Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful story of the balloons and the poem....makes me pause for a moment and remember.....what a nice gift.

Thank you so much Lori and others for the Happy Fathers Day wish. I am a father of 5 very successful children. I am very proud of them.

Keep an eye on the mail. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. Lisa and I are leaving early in the morning for SA and the VA. Got 3 more appointments Tuesday.

A big hug to all,
