View Full Version : Has anyone tried Salumedrol?

I just tried Salumedrol to see if it might help. It helped my breathing a lot, and helped my balance, speech, and brain fog some. It did not really do anything to relieve the pain, swelling, or numbness. Also, it helped with exhaustion for the 3 days I was on it, but now I'm so tired, I'm having trouble just getting up and around. Has any one else tried Salumedrol? What were your results?

I got Salumedrol in my IV just before my Remicade infusions, it is a steriod simular to prednisone so it will help with reducing imflamation, it kept me from having a bad allergic reaction to my remicade infusions. It is a strong potient drug and used carefully.

I am on it. My Rheumy has me on 8mg and 20mg on alternating days. It worked better for me than regular old prednisone which made me a raving fool. She is now trying to get me off of it and trying all sorts of meds...next I guess I am suppose to get off the MTX and go to Imuran and then off the steroids.
