well went to specialist today confirmed what i thought i am in the middle of severe flare up affecting my muscles and rash , severe fatigue thinks i may have urinary track infection and pleurisy wants me to rest and continue on with painkillers he is bit concerned with my bloating so starting to reduce prednisone slowly had more bloodtests and have to have chest xray not sure what caused flare up but thinks maybe to much sun exposure even though i took every precaution while away with hats clothes and sunscreen and staying out of sun till the afternoon it may not have been enough because i am very sun sensitive we had acamper trailer with awnings and i always stayed under them and i rested constantly very frustrating when you do al the right things and still you have lupus attack camping is the only pleasure my family has left i am determine not to loose this as it is very important for us to spend this time together not thinking of our illnesses but just having fun as afamily i plan on living one day at a time now and trying to enjoy every minute otherwise this disease wins. well thanks for listening and remember tommorrow is another day and life goes on live evey moment.

I know it is frustrating when you take all the precautions and have a flare-up anyway. Like you, I am in the middle of a flare after taking every conceivable precaution that I could think of! The upside, it sounds as if you did enjoy your family time camping. I am sorry that it ended in a flare, but we have to take our small moments of enjoyment and relish them.
You are lucky to have a doctor who seems to be on top of things. I hope that you feel better soon!

Peace and Blessings

Just when you think you've done everything you can to take care of yourself, a flare sneaks up on you and kicks you anyway. Wish I could make it better for you. Glad you have a doc who cares.

Hang in there,

Jana
