View Full Version : Hello from Connecticut!

I have been lurking around here for a while now, so I thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm a 22 yr old senior in college who was diagnosed w/ lupus during my first year of college. So I am going on 4 years now..hard to believe.
Anyways, I am doing pretty well and have always felt that I was in the minority of people with lupus who seem to have it under control. However, my hands still give me some trouble some evenings, and the fatigue as well is not so nice.
Well, I'm not sure what else to say, except that I'm glad to be finally finishing up my undergrad degree, then will be going off to New Hampshire for graduate school in occupational therapy (can't wait!)
It looks like you guys have a great forum here, and I'm looking forward to looking around at everyone's posts!

Hello and Welcome freidababy.... :D
Just wanted to say hi! Glad you decided to join up.
Congrats on all your hard work on your degree...that's outstanding! Good luck on the homestretch......
I worked as an Office Mananger for a really fun group of OT/PT's at a Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, and they were some of the greatest people I've ever worked with. The work they did with the disabled children was incredible.
Good to see you post....looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome. I am a newbie also. Just start started really posting the last few weeks. I can't tell you how much the encouraging words from others have helped me. Also the fact that the things I am going through I thought I was all alone and found that many have all the smae feelings and symptoms that I have. It really helps me get through the days. you will love it here. I'm glad you joined.
