Ordered more blood tests and also he is going to try and get me into the Lupus specialist clinic in Manchester soon...

I asked for a sick note because I am going to start claiming so under diagnosis he wrote:

I live over the road from the manchester royal infirmary and heard its good for lupus, but because my permanent address is in Staffordshire, as im a student, I have to go back there to see my rheumy(although he did train at the MRI).
I was surprised about the illnesses I have because of my lupus, my Dr just sort of drops things in and im like  but apparently its just the lupus!!!

rite lol yeh I heard it's good there, we'll see if he actually sends me there because u never know.... Shame they can't just let u go there then if it is easier.....

hehe yeh I know what u mean before they actually diagnoses the SLE I had all sorts thrown at me..
It took them ages to find out what was up with me because SLE is not the most common thing in men...

Then today when I went the whole throwing different deceases at me has started again... lol must be because I have been so bad again....

Hi TobyJug,

:P Psoriatic arthritis is probably what your doctor was refering to....there's not real treatment for it...I know....I have it or at least I've been told I have it by my doctor who never ran any tests, just looked at my toe nails. :P

Still wouldn't hurt to have him clarify it for you.

Polyarthragia is very much the same thing as Fibromyalgia and polymyalgia..or at least many of the symptoms are the same. Also, it is quite common for patients of SLE to suffer from polyarthragia. It is widespread muscle and joint pain and inflammation, much like arthritic pain which can include stiffness and soreness. It is condition of the whole body

Myalgia: means muscle pain. Polymyalgia means widespread muscle pain.
Arthragia: means joint inflammation.

So, lupus sufferers often suffer from polymyalgia and polyarthragia...meaning we have widespread muscle and joint pain as well as inflammation.

I hope that this has been helpful!
Peace and Blessings
