Hi everyone, how are you? I'm doing well. Very blessed! I was diagnosed with Membranous Lupus Nephritis today. My doctor wants me to take Cellcept. My question is how can I get it cheaper/FREE, as I am disabled, and on a tight budget? The med Cellcept is $800.00. My co pay is $150.00 which is still too much!! PLEASE ADVISE!

Hi and welcome Katrina
I live in Canada, so our system is different. Most of my drug coverage is paid for by my insurance.
I'm sure others will be along who can give you some advise. Which country do you live in?

Hi Katrina...first welcoming you with open arms...
From my understanding Social Services may have a supplement program to assist with the prescription cost despite having a copay while being on disability...are you on disability compensation?
Some hospitals have charity programs that one can apply for.
Or ask your pharmacist..pharmacy if they are aware of any assistance programs...
Try this link... http://www.rxassist.org/ or...
this number and ask about an assistant pharmacy program, Georgia Department of Community Health at 404-656-4496 ..or...
Georgia Partnership for Caring Foundation...Non profit prescription assistance program at 1-800-982-GPC-4723 or 678-578-2920.
Hope this leads you to some assistance...
