View Full Version : Too much or not enough

I was wondering if anyone else has this combination of drugs?

Methotrexate Injectibles
Calcium Citrate
Multi Vitamin

And I read that some people were taking 20 mg of methtrexate. Is that the same as 25mg/ml @ 0.7 cc per injection?

I am new to the scene. And being a man, there isn't a lot us out there (thank god) to relate to.

There are no support groups in Southwest Missouri, my wife found this website and signed me up. It is good to read ideas from other people.

May God bless you all.

Hi Morpheus Thanks for responding back. There are a lot of interesting stories from all over the world. My wife found this site and registered me.

Everybody goes to Rheumi's, but so many different treatments and drug combinations.

Hope this message reaches you on a good day.

Here's my list:

Nortriptyline, 50 mg, every night
Naproxen, 220 mg, 4 x day
Hydroxychloroquine sulfate (Plaquenil), 400 mg daily
Metadate CD, 20 mg, 1 x day
Prednisone, 5 mg, 1 x day
Leflunomide (Arava), 20 mg, 1 x day
Sulfasalazine, 500 mg, 2 tablets, 2 x day
Hydrochlorothiazide, 25 mg, 1 x day
Salsalate, 500 mg, 3 x day
Methocarbamol, 500 mg, 3 x day
Flexeril, 10 mg, every night
Ibuprofin, 800 mg, 3 x day

And still in a flare !!
Hang in there. It takes time to find the right combination of drugs to ease symptoms. And once you find it, it may very well have to change again. Keep a list of your meds with you at all times, and keep it current. I hope you find the right combination soon.
