Hello all,

Anybody have some hat advice? Where do you like to buy?

I've bought lots; but I have a bad habit of losing them. a little spacey... I live in Costa Rica, so now I have a big collection of costa rican cloth farmer's hats. They're very cheap, so I don't mind losing them so much. But I'm getting a little bored with them, so I was going to mail order some. Anybody have a source for hats that you can pack into a suitcase?

That is so funny  :D :)

As soon as I saw your post, I thought, "I should ask HatLady to chime in here" and, before I could ask, there she was!! She is the expert on hats!!
Thank You, Hatlady, for your quick response :D

Peace and Blessings

I had about 2 minutes between work "stuff" and logged on - saw the post and said...."OH! How quickly can I copy links!!!" :o

I had one of the student workers ask me how many hats I had - he'd been working for us for about 3 weeks, and had seen at least 4 or 5 different ones in that time. After thinking for a few minutes I said "I don't know, I lost count around 8 or 10!"

I figure that I have to stay out of the sun. Hats are a good way to keep my face and neck in shade. Always wide brim, at least 4", summer and winter. Might as well have fun with it, and make it a trademark! :D

Here's a few more links...

I haven't ordered from ALL the links I've posted, but I will admit to window shopping on a regular basis.....

Have a sweet and wonderful day!

Like you, I wear hats summer and winter and I think that I have about 14 hats. I am a member of the "Red Hats" society, so I have some outrageous red hats that I love to wear just for fun! But, yes, since we must protect ourselves from the sun, sporting our plethera of hats is a fun way to do it!!

I wish you much peace and many blessings

If you live near a Navy base9or know someone who does), you should get the white navy caps. I love them, and have even dyed some of them in pretty pastel colors. Gotta do SOMETHING while this curly mess on my head grows out! They are cheap and VERY packable.
