I just went to my regular doctor this morning to talk about my positive ANA test and the others that she did. Unfortunately, I cannot get into a specialist for a couple of months. These are my symptoms:
knee problems especially in extreme heat or cold, excessive exercise, or sitting for too long
chest pains
difficulty breathing after excessive exercise
positive ANA test
negative for RA

I fit so well to the symptoms and have been having these problems since I was young. Before complaining about my knees, I took over the counter pain medications since before high school (5 or 6 years). I am kind of scared because I am so young and I have waited a long time to start complaining about my knees. Hopefully, it's not too bad.

thanks for replying! The closest I could get was in September, but the nurse said I could call every weekday to see if anyone cancelled. I am really nervous about having a name for what's wrong with me. The pregnancy part scares me also, because I really want to have children of my DNA. I am trying not to sike myself out.

I just BARELY got the "possible (but most likely) lupus" diagnosis.. I had my 6 year old daughter when i was 16 with NO issues, then I started to try for more children when I turned 20. I've had 4 losses due to blood clotting issues so when the doctor realized what was going on I was started on Lovenox immediately after a positive pregnancy test.. and I now have a 1 year old son. I know other lupus patients have had similar things happen to them so there is still hope for you! :) GL with everything.

Hi Miranda!

Is that your little boy? He is SO cute! :lilangel:

I'm really sorry to hear that you've had so many losses, but I am really glad that the doctor finally figured out what was wrong and began treatment for you!

Keep well and God bless! :)
