hello family,

does anyone know of any scholarships out there for people with Lupus or a disability? I will be entering my last semester of grad school but our money is really low right now but I would like to continue and graduate. thanks in advance.

Gosh - I have thought about this before. I'm hoping someday to be in a position to start a scholarship (even a small one) at a local university to help those with lupus to finish school.

I don't know of any currently, though.

what are you studying?

I hope to give back one day as well because during my undergrad I received some scholarships that made a real difference because at the time I was a single parent.

I am pursuing my MA in Juvenile Justice, I have a BS in Criminal Justice.

These are the only two that I've ever heard of. You can also check the Arthrits Foundation's website.

The Lupus Inspiration Foundation for Excellence (L.I.F.E.) is the only charitable, non-profit, organization in the country dedicated to providing much-needed financial aid to students with SLE. To receive a L.I.F.E. Scholarship packet, please write to LIFE4lupus@hotmail.com. For more information about L.I.F.E. scholarships, volunteer opportunities or donations to the L.I.F.E. Scholarship Fund, please write to Lupus Inspiration Foundation for Excellence, Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 64088, Tucson, AZ 85728-4088.

Peace and Blessings
